Just transition finance validation workshop
Goal of the workshop is the assessment of the sustainable finance ecosystem in the Philippines, with the focus in the state of play of financing a just transition.
Target participants:
- Government agencies
- Financial sector actors
- Organizations / institutions working on Sustainable Finance and Just Transition
- Workers organizations and trade unions
- Employers organizations
Objectives:
- To present the initial findings of the Study to the relevant stakeholders, particularly the findings on climate transition dynamics and their socio-economic impacts and social considerations and on financial sector mapping on state of available financing options for just transition.
- To gather input from relevant stakeholders that could enrich the initial findings of the Assessment, which may be subsequently integrated to the Study, and assist in streamlining the key findings, including gaps and recommendations on the topic.
