Côte d'Ivoire, the world's largest cocoa producer, has been a member of the ILO since 1960 and plays a key role in the West African economy. The ILO actively supports its efforts to promote decent employment, strengthen labour market governance and improve social protection, as part of the Decent Work Promotion Programme (DWPP) 2023-2027.
